Bridgepoint-backed BigHand bolts on Iphelion
Bridgepoint-backed BigHand, a provider of productivity software to the legal market, has acquired UK-based document creation software developer Iphelion.
Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, though BigHand's 2018 bolt-on of DW Reporting was entirely financed by debt provided by RBS and Barings.
The latest deal comes nine years after Bridgepoint acquired BigHand from LDC in a deal worth £49m.
Iphelion managing director Andy Driskell and chief technology officer Simon Ashby-Crowe will take seats on the BigHand board of directors as part of the deal.
Bridgepoint is invested in BigHand via Bridgepoint Development Capital II.
